Heraeus Sensor Technology with its headquarters in Kleinostheim near Aschaffenburg in Germany is an independent company within Heraeus Holding, Hanau. The core capabilities are in development, production and in the international marketing of primarily customised components in platinum thin-film technology. This includes sensors for temperature and flow measurement as well as sensor platforms which are used for example in the manufacture of gas sensors. The company annually supplies many millions of these components to subcontractors and system suppliers.
